Armenia's Demand for Interim Measures Against Turkey is at the ECHR
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has received a request from the Armenian government for interim measures against Turkey. This information was reported by the court's press service, as reported by RIA Novosti.
In a statement issued by the Armenian representation at the ECHR, it was noted that given Turkey's extensive support and ongoing involvement in military operations associated with gross violations of international humanitarian law and the European Convention on Human Rights by Azerbaijan against the civilian population and objects of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Armenia has submitted a request for the application of interim measures against Turkey under Rule 39 of the Court's Rules of Procedure.
