Armenia-Albania Friendly Match Canceled: FFA

The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) announces that the Armenia-Albania match will not take place. The friendly match scheduled for October 7 has been canceled. The decision was made by UEFA, taking into account the current situation in the region.

All media events related to the Armenia-Albania match have also been canceled. UEFA is currently monitoring the situation and will decide on the venue for the Armenia-Georgia match in the coming days. According to UEFA's current approach, if it is determined that the Armenia-Georgia match will be held abroad, then the Azerbaijan national team will also play its home match against the Cyprus national team at a neutral venue.

Furthermore, the Football Federation of Armenia had received security guarantees from the government of Armenia for hosting the Armenia-Albania and Armenia-Georgia matches in Yerevan, which were sent to UEFA in the appropriate manner.
