Russian Journalist Sustains Concussion During Shelling in Stepanakert
A group of Russian journalists came under shelling in the capital of Artsakh, Stepanakert. According to Armenpress, citing RIA Novosti, one of them, Denis Kulagan, a reporter for the newspaper Izvestia, sustained a mild concussion.
"The group of journalists had arrived to film the power plant damaged by the shelling. At that time, new shelling began, and shells were falling near us. Everything is fine, but my head hurts now," Kulagan reported.
Earlier, the portal Mash reported that its filming crew came under fire in Nagorno-Karabakh. The portal's director, Maxim Ikhsanov, told RIA Novosti that the journalists were not harmed.
"No one was injured; two people are working with us—an operator and a reporter. Everything is in order," Ikhsanov stated.
The press service of Izvestia declined to provide details of the incident to RIA Novosti.
