After heavy fighting, the Defense Army has today improved its positions and prepared the ground for further advances. This was stated by the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots, I continue to remain on the front line and stand beside our heroic boys. They are performing great feats in ensuring the protection of the Homeland and all our families. At the same time, I am carrying out the operational governance of the Republic through the relevant mechanisms that have been put in place.

After heavy fighting, the Defense Army has improved its positions today and prepared the ground for further advances. Under pressure on the front line, Azerbaijan has begun to strike our peaceful settlements with more force, including using long-range missiles. These military crimes will receive their appropriate responses, and in this regard, we are warning the Azerbaijani authorities for the last time… We will defeat and punish the criminals who threaten our existence.”
