Iranian MP Urges Foreign Ministry to Avert Regional Instability
Hosein Hatami, a representative from Khalajbar city in the Iranian parliament, has revealed that he had a phone conversation with the Foreign Minister's deputy for parliamentary affairs regarding the landing of missiles in the Khodafarin region. In an interview with the Iranian news agency 'Irna', Hatami expressed his concerns and grievances about the situation.
He called on the Foreign Ministry to engage seriously and prevent instability in the region, ensuring that the citizens of Iran are not harmed. The Foreign Minister's deputy expressed regret and assured that the diplomatic apparatus would actively pursue the issue.
Additionally, he noted that a high-level delegation composed of representatives from the Armed Forces, Ministry of Interior, Foreign Ministry, and the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Parliament will be heading to Khodafarin to assess the situation on the ground and address the emerging challenges.
