Georgia Denies Transfer of Militants to Azerbaijan

The Armenian Embassy in Georgia has issued a statement regarding the circulation of misinformation online. It reads: "Dear compatriots, misinformation is again being spread very actively online, claiming that militants are to be transported to Azerbaijan through Georgia, and that the Armenian community in Javakheti is being urged to block all Georgian-Turkish border checkpoints.

We inform you that the aforementioned information is entirely false and aims to create tension among the Armenian community in Javakheti and in Armenian-Georgian relations. The Armenian Embassy in Georgia once again urges everyone to refrain from spreading such fake news, which can have extremely dangerous consequences, especially during this period."
