Armenia Remains Committed to Peaceful Resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has issued a statement regarding the joint call made by the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries.
“We welcome the fact that the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries have strongly condemned the use of force in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. Armenia has continuously rejected and condemned the use of force or the threat of its use by Azerbaijan, as well as Turkey's direct involvement in military actions against Armenia and Artsakh. The coordinated aggressive actions of Azerbaijan and Turkey, along with the involvement of foreign terrorist fighters, undermine regional security and peace, significantly increasing the risk of large-scale war. This aggression against Artsakh must cease immediately. Armenia continues to be committed to the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We will continue to decisively counter this aggression against Artsakh while being prepared to work with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries towards the restoration of the ceasefire regime based on the agreements of 1994-1995,” the statement read.
