Rockfall in Alaverdi: 6 Cubic Meters of Stone Removed from the Road

On September 26, at 02:15 AM, the Lori regional crisis management center received a report about a rockfall that occurred on the 3rd kilometer of the road leading to the Sanahin-Sarahart neighborhood in the city of Alaverdi, causing traffic to become one-way.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that a firefighting and rescue unit from the regional emergency rescue department was dispatched to the site. Rescuers removed approximately 6 cubic meters of stones from the trafficable area of the road.
