Navalny's Poisoning Could Have Been Staged, Says Russian Foreign Ministry

The theory surrounding the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny could have been a "staged" event. This was stated in a press release from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the ministry, "Germany's actions were so smooth that they raised numerous questions about whether we are dealing with yet another staging regarding the mysterious use of chemical weapons, but this time not in Syria and Great Britain, but in Russia."
The Russian Foreign Ministry believes that Germany has intentionally politicized the incident to accuse Russia of violating the Chemical Weapons Convention.
