VIDEO: Decision Made to Arrest the Head of Tsovagyugh

Law enforcement officials have made a decision to arrest the head of Tsovagyugh, reports Armlur.

The media outlet attempted to clarify the information directly from the community leader, but their phone was answered by an assistant who declined to comment.

It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that the head of the Gavar Police, Igor Mesropyan, has undergone eye surgery and received 14 stitches. Currently, he is being transferred to Yerevan.

Sevan Police Chief Saribek Rustamyan and ten other officers have also suffered severe beatings. In relation to these events, the Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case under Articles 258 (hooliganism) parts 1 and 2, and Article 316 (violence against a representative of authority) part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
