Ruben Melikyan: You are holding a parliamentary session and replacing ‘President of the Constitutional Court’ with ‘Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court’ in the Constitution

Human rights defender Ruben Melikyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“Tomorrow you will hold a parliamentary session and within 4 hours you will make amendments to the Constitution, replacing the term ‘President of the Constitutional Court’ with ‘Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court’ everywhere.

Step 1: Tomorrow you will hold a parliamentary session and within 4 hours you will make amendments to the Constitution, replacing the term ‘President of the Constitutional Court’ with ‘Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court’.

Step 2: The ‘people's candidate’ for the Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court goes to the nearest square and decisively declares, ‘Either I will be elected as the Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court, or the Court will have no Prime Minister.’

Step 3: The ‘people’s candidate’ is elected as the Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court.

Step 4: The National Assembly adopts a procedural resolution stating that the crisis of the Constitutional Court has been resolved.

The end.

P.S. The legitimate judges of the Constitutional Court are Alvina Gyulumyan, Hrant Nazaryan, and Felix Tokhyan,” Melikyan wrote.
