Neither Nikol nor Aliyev Can Play Their Silly Games at the Expense of Armenia and the Armenian People: Marukyan
The Prime Minister must clarify to the National Assembly the exchange of the so-called "confidential" information regarding the negotiations with Azerbaijan, which he himself has described. This was stated in a Facebook post by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during a meeting with a delegation led by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh in his office, mentioned that recently Azerbaijani media outlets, government circles, and Azerbaijan’s military-political leadership have introduced a new component into their propaganda campaign, namely the revelation of confidential information.
"I advise my Azerbaijani counterparts not to go down that road, because if we enter that field and start disseminating confidential information, I fear that the internal political situation in Azerbaijan will be desperately destabilized. Therefore, I recommend returning to a constructive track and not going down a worn path," the Prime Minister said.
It is also worth noting that Armenian Revolutionary Federation vice president Armen Ashotyan stated today that Pashinyan is not denying the information recently revealed by Azerbaijan about shadow agreements between himself and Aliyev, but is, in fact, confirming it while simultaneously scaring Aliyev with his own compromising material.
"As it was said in a famous movie: Fall in love, get married, get divorced. Go crazy—the sea is nearby. But neither Nikol nor Aliyev can play their silly games at the expense of Armenia and the Armenian people. Stay away from us, both of you. In any normal political system, after all this, the Prime Minister should resign, and the National Security Service should seriously address these issues. The bill is still open, but the time for reckoning is not far off," Ashotyan noted.
