Concerns of the Ruling Faction: What to Expect After Resignations

The newspaper "Fact" reports: One of the primary topics being discussed recently, which has given rise to various interpretations, is the issue of confirmed and anticipated resignations within the parliamentary majority. On one hand, this concerns the transfer of several lawmakers to the executive branch, while on the other hand, there are some deputies who are expected to voluntarily relinquish their mandates, although nothing has been clearly defined in this regard so far.

However, regardless of how many resignations occur, those deputies are naturally expected to be succeeded by the next candidates on the electoral list. According to our parliamentary source, this topic has sparked quite a heated debate among the “My Step” faction members.

According to information obtained by the "Fact" newspaper, many sitting deputies are dissatisfied because the cadres included in the lower numbers of the list are problematic, even by their faction's standards, and this is likely to lead to further criticism. Recently, some deputies have reported this openly, according to our sources.

As per our interlocutor, when one of the “My Step” deputies expressed discontent with a sour face regarding the situation, the leadership immediately countered, asking, “What, which one of you is a politically experienced or well-traveled politician that they know nothing?” The response indicated a dismissal of what they deemed empty talks.
