People with Physical, Mental and Intellectual Disabilities Called to Gatherings in Azerbaijan: Alen Ghulyan

Facebook user Alen Ghulyan wrote on his page: “The real picture of the special gatherings organized by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of Azerbaijan. Reserve serviceman Mahmed Elgiz oglu Memedli (born in 1996). As you can see, one of his fingers on his right hand is amputated. From the posts on social networks, it becomes clear that in addition to people with visible disabilities, those with mental and intellectual disabilities are also being summoned to the gatherings.

A considerable number of reservists have been gathered from Talish, Lezgian, and Arab-speaking regions as well. There is also active propaganda on social networks and news sites regarding the involvement of representatives of national minorities (dances near military registration and enlistment offices, songs in buses, their bellicose statements, calls for revenge and war, etc.).
