Vitaly Balasanyan is in Armenia, Attempting to Mobilize the Opposition
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "Hero of Artsakh and former Secretary of the Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan has been in Armenia for several weeks. Despite being a member of the Artsakh Parliament, we were informed that he has hardly interacted with anyone, losing hope that anything could be corrected in Artsakh. He has come to Armenia to attempt to shake things up and mobilize the Armenian opposition.
Balasanyan is actively initiating meetings with various opposition forces and political figures. He has met with former presidents, former ministers of defense, leaders of opposition parties, and various individuals, trying to convince them to unite all forces, setting aside disagreements and ambitions, as the enemy has plans for military revanche and the government under Pashinyan is incapable of repelling it.
Balasanyan believes that Pashinyan is an "anti-Armenian" project and that only his departure will strengthen the country and prevent external threats, which he has repeatedly stated in his interviews. He was at Yerablur during the Independence Day celebration, where he answered our questions, but attempts to reach him by phone and conduct a detailed interview have been unsuccessful as he does not respond to calls and messages."
