The Executive Fits My Character Better: The National Assembly Bids Farewell to Armen Pambukhchyan with Applause
Armen Pambukhchyan stated that he can provide his services more effectively in the executive branch, which is why he decided to return from the legislature to the executive. He mentioned this during a conversation with journalists, adding that there are no other issues related to the transfer: 'The executive fits my character better.'
Pambukhchyan will be working as the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations. He indicated that he will discuss his plans for the agency later.
When asked whether other members from 'My Step' want to give up their mandates and if any discussions have taken place regarding this, he replied: 'There have been no discussions.'
Additionally, Pambukhchyan informed that the maritime legislation he developed is nearly complete and is currently undergoing examination.
Taking advantage of the opportunity presented during the extraordinary session, Pambukhchyan gave his final speech from the National Assembly podium. He reminded that he submitted his resignation request from parliamentary duties on September 17, with the deadline for acceptance expiring tomorrow, September 24. Therefore, today he is participating in the National Assembly session for the last time in the capacity of a deputy.
In his speech, he expressed gratitude to his colleagues: 'Especially to those deputies with whom, regardless of their political views and factions, we managed to build warm and good relationships,' Pambukhchyan conveyed, wishing strength, energy, love, and solidarity to his colleagues remaining in the National Assembly.
