Red Cross Representatives Visit Armenian Citizens Detained in Azerbaijan
The representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have visited Armenian citizens detained in Azerbaijan, including Armenian soldier Gurgen Alaverdyan. Zara Amatuni, the communications program manager of the ICRC's Armenia office, informed "Armenpress" about this visit.
"During the visit, Red Cross representatives assessed their living conditions, inquired about their health status, and provided them the opportunity to contact their families," Amatuni stated.
Among those being held in Azerbaijan are Karen Ghazaryan, a resident of Berdavan village, soldier Arayik Ghazaryan, Narek Sardaryan from Nerkhin Khandzoresk village, soldier Gurgen Alaverdyan, and Arsen Baghdasaryan from Artsakh.
