Rally Decision Adjusted to Court's Discussion on Detention Issue: Alen Simonyan

Alen Simonyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, stated that he believes the decision regarding the rally has been adjusted to the court's discussion concerning the detention issue. In a Facebook post, he remarked, "And I don’t care that most people who came because of the rally might, and unfortunately most likely, get infected with the coronavirus. Everything is for the sake of the political defense of the person accused in the criminal case and the politicization of the issue," he added. "For the people? With the people?"

It is noteworthy that the Prosperous Armenia Party, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, and the Homeland Party have announced their intention to hold a rally on October 8.
