According to the information from the ‘People’ newspaper, during the last meeting of the ‘Civil Contract’ party's board, the party members reportedly attacked the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Araik Harutyunyan. The party members presented to Harutyunyan the situation regarding his persona, noting the dissatisfaction brewing within the team towards him.

Our sources report that very harsh words were spoken by Lilit Makunts, the leader of the ‘My Step’ parliamentary faction, and Hakob Simidian, the faction's secretary, who hear complaints almost daily in parliament regarding cooperation with Harutyunyan. Makunts and Simidian emphasized that these grievances are coming directly from their own team members and urged him to ‘wake up,’ change his working style, and collaborate with the parliament, or else the internal situation will increasingly escalate.

Following all this, it seems that Araik Harutyunyan is attempting to mend relations with his team. Moreover, according to our information, recently the head of the permanent committee on education, science, culture, and sports in the National Assembly, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, and Araik Harutyunyan have been trying to communicate with each other. They appear to be holding meetings and discussions, searching for a possible reconciliation, according to their team.

It should be noted that for a long time, Hayrapetyan and Harutyunyan have been in heated battles, which led Hayrapetyan to even approach Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to be transferred to an executive position, as they were unable to work together in the same field.
