Pashinyan Sends Old Guard to the 'Frontline' with Loyal Allies

The newspaper "Pashat" reports that recently, member of parliament from the "My Step" faction, Armen Pambukhchyan, resigned from his parliamentary mandate, stating: "At my request and with the agreement of my political team, I will continue my public service in the executive branch." These days, several other names are circulating, who are also expected to cease their legislative activities and move to the government.

Recalling that about a month and a half ago, Kotayk Governor Romanos Petrosyan was appointed as the Minister of Environment, it becomes clear that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has begun to strengthen ministerial positions.

According to information from "Pashat," Pashinyan is thus sending the so-called old guard to the 'frontline,' that is, his loyal allies. According to circulating rumors, the Prime Minister is not only strengthening control over the state management system, which he has intermittently expressed dissatisfaction with, but seemingly also preparing for upcoming political, economic, and sectoral challenges.
