Maroqyan Comments on Upcoming Joint Rallies of BHK, HDP, and Homeland Parties

During a parliamentary briefing today, LHK leader Edmon Maroqyan addressed the upcoming joint rallies of the BHK, HDP, and Homeland parties scheduled for October, stating that it is the first time he has heard about such a rally. He remarked, “I don’t know what agenda the rally has been called for.”

When asked whether LHK might join this opposition trio as an opposition force, Maroqyan mentioned, “I have repeatedly stated that we cooperate with various forces and have certain joint initiatives when our agendas coincide. So far, our agenda has coincided with that of BHK regarding appeals to the Constitutional Court, the establishment of a coronavirus inquiry commission, and other inquiries, and these have been successfully concluded. Other than that, each force has its agenda, and I don’t think it’s something new that opposition forces are organizing a rally. We will follow up and see what calls are made.”
