Fact: The Government Has Now Compiled a 'Blacklist' of Experts
Since the change of power in Armenia, blatant polarization and selective processes have touched almost every sector. The authorities are not paying attention to people's professionalism and simply categorize them as 'black' or 'white'. Despite continuous accusations that the government lacks qualified personnel, it seems they are ignoring the voices of other specialists and experts. According to the "Fact" newspaper, a 'blacklist' of experts has now been compiled; a specific directive has been issued about who should be featured by government-affiliated media, whose posts should be published, and whom to ignore. It has been decided which experts in the government should be 'ignored' and which should be 'heard', regardless of their qualifications, the importance and constructiveness of their observations, and their level of experience. The primary consideration appears to be how closely they align with the authorities and how well they operate within the government's 'framework'.
