Court Proceedings Continue in the Case of Robert Kocharian and Others in Yerevan

On September 22, court proceedings continued in the case of Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharian, and others at the Shengavit residence of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

It is recalled that during the previous session, lawyers submitted motions requesting the complete volume of materials related to the events of March 1, 2008. As known, the materials against Robert Kocharian and others, which have been split into separate proceedings, were selected by the investigator. The lawyers believe that the materials have been chosen purely for accusatory purposes. The materials that the lawyers could use for the defense have simply not been provided.

Today, the speech of the prosecutors is expected.
