Instead of Blaming the Opposition, the Government Should Focus on the Country's Security: Edmon Marukyan

We have a strong army, and we dream of having a politically healthy system with developed state institutions, where the individual will be the central and highest value. This was stated today by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia Party, during a conversation with journalists.

Commenting on the statements made by the President of Azerbaijan, who claimed that there are currently no negotiations and that Armenia is to blame, he noted: “Aliyev is a common provocateur, and we should not fall for the provocation. Before and after every statement, we must strengthen the frontline. Every day there is a danger of war; we are in a non-friendly region.”

Regarding the threats to the country's national security, he asserted that instead of blaming the opposition, the government should focus on the country's security.
