Babayan Advises Kyaramyan to Investigate Why the Investigation Committee Did Not Indict Certain Individuals in the Wiretapping Case

Considering the fact that the authorities continue to exploit the theme rather shamelessly instead of providing the public with proper information about the case, I advise Kyaramyan to clarify how it happened that the preliminary investigation body did not properly assess the testimonies of key witnesses (in fact suspects) in the wiretapping case and did not file charges against certain individuals.

This was stated by Arsen Babayan, a member of the 'Homeland' party council, on his Facebook page. He particularly wrote, 'Given the numerous inquiries from journalists, I inform you that the person occupying the position of director of Armenia’s National Security Service should have at least enough professionalism to be able to evaluate whether any information relates to reality, even if slightly, let alone analyze it.'

'The publication of the 'Dosye' by the anti-government Russian oligarch Khodorkovsky itself counts as a report of a crime and is yet another indicator that we are dealing with amateur-level self-activity rather than professionalism, since even the 'Dosye' website states that it does not take responsibility for the content of the published information.'

'Regarding the statements of the person holding the position of director of the National Security Service about the known wiretapping, I again state that the Chairman of the Investigation Committee announced in a press briefing with journalists that the case of wiretapping has been completely uncovered.'
