Argishti Kyaramyan: Vanetsyan Should First Think About Wiretapping
Today, during a conversation with journalists at Yerevan's Yerablur, the Head of the National Security Service of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, commented on Arthur Vanetsyan's statement that his appointment poses a national security threat, stating that he would not comment on Vanetsyan's remarks.
“Arthur Vanetsyan should first consider the issue that during his tenure as the Head of the NSS, phone conversations between the NSS director, the head of the Special Investigation Service, and the Prime Minister were wiretapped,” Kyaramyan noted.
When asked if he is assured that he will not be wiretapped, Kyaramyan responded, “Today, technical capabilities have advanced significantly, and there are individuals and organizations that possess the financial means to do so; therefore, being assured about any matter at this moment is not realistic.”
