Minsk City Center Blocked as Security Forces Deploy Specialized Equipment

A column of specialized equipment, including military transports, has been deployed to the city center of Minsk, where Belarusian opposition is traditionally holding protest actions today. Access to Independence Square is currently blocked by metal barricades, and there is a heavy presence of police and OMON units armed with shields and batons.
