The information regarding the deployment of Kurdish militants in the Republic of Artsakh is another lie from Azerbaijan; it is disinformation. This was stated by Vahram Poghosyan, the spokesperson for the President of Artsakh, in an interview with NEWS.am.

“By spreading such information, Azerbaijan is trying to contradict the established reports that their army is being reinforced with extremists coming from Syria. However, this has been confirmed, and international media also report on the deployment of extremist forces from Syria in Azerbaijan. I can say that this is an absolute lie and does not correspond to reality,” he emphasized.

According to Vahram Poghosyan, the existence of extremist forces within the Azerbaijan Armed Forces is also evidenced by the atrocities committed against Armenian soldiers during the April actions, which are characteristic of Islamist extremists.
