Police in Gavar Prevent Attempted Theft of 40 Sheep, Arrest Suspects

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on September 19, based on operational information received at the Gavar Police Department, police in Gavar, led by the head of the department Igor Mesropyan, in collaboration with officers from the Gegharkunik regional police administration under the direction of regional police chief Artur Mkrtchyan, apprehended three individuals attempting to steal approximately 40 sheep.

Those detained are residents of Gegharkunik province: 26-year-old Vahe N., 63-year-old Garnik N., and 20-year-old Levon J.

It was established that the operational information received at the Gavar Police Department was credible. The suspects were preparing to steal the 40 sheep owned by 47-year-old Arsen Margaryan, located in the area known as “Duran,” adjacent to the village of Karmir.

Materials are being prepared at the investigative department of the Gavar Police regarding this incident.
