Major Fire Breaks Out Near Matenadaran, Six Firefighting Units Deployed

On September 19, at 21:15, the National Crisis Management Center received an alert that grassland was burning in several spots behind the Matenadaran on Saralanj Highway in Yerevan. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

Six firefighting units from the fire and rescue squads of the Emergency Situations Ministry have been deployed to the site under a "Code 2" alert, along with the Division for Organizing Firefighting and Rescue Operations.
