7 New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in Artsakh

According to information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, 7 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the republic. All infected individuals are from the city of Stepanakert, 6 of whom are from previously identified contact tracing groups and were in isolation.

The infection was confirmed in another citizen during an examination at a medical facility. Relevant work is being carried out to identify the source of the outbreak as well as to clarify the contact tracing of patients.

Two citizens have recovered. To date, COVID-19 has been diagnosed in 359 individuals, of which 313 have overcome the disease. Currently, 44 people are receiving treatment, and a total of 80 citizens are in isolation.

A total of 93 samples have been collected for testing. To date, 13,419 samples have been tested.
