Russia to Resume Air Traffic with Four More Countries, Armenia Not Included
Russia will resume air traffic with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus starting September 21, as announced by the operational headquarters for the fight against the spread of coronavirus, according to RIA Novosti.
“As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to resume international flights on a reciprocal basis with Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), and Belarus (Minsk) from September 21,” the statement said.
The flights to these countries will be conducted on a reciprocal basis with a frequency of once a week, the headquarters clarified.
Additionally, the operational headquarters announced the resumption of air traffic with South Korea starting September 27. “As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to resume international flights on a reciprocal basis with South Korea (Seoul) from September 27,” the statement noted.
The flights will also operate on a once-a-week basis, the headquarters specified.
