‘I Only Learned I Had Received the Gardasil Vaccine After Losing My Vision,’ Says Girl with Vision Problems Post-Vaccination
A 17-year-old girl revealed in an interview with ‘Pacininfo’ that she developed vision problems after receiving the Gardasil vaccine, unaware that she was being invited to the clinic specifically for that vaccination.
‘They called me and said I needed to receive my routine vaccination, so I went and got it. A few minutes after the vaccination, I felt very ill with weakness and tremors throughout my body, I started to have a nosebleed, and my head was spinning. In short, I could barely stand up. When I got home, I noticed my vision was gradually failing, and after a while, I could hardly see anything,’ the girl, who recently received the Gardasil vaccine at the ‘Armenia’ clinic and whose name is not disclosed for privacy reasons, recounted to ‘Pacininfo.’
She confirmed during the interview that she had been feeling completely fine before getting vaccinated, without any health problems or complaints. ‘They called me and said I needed to receive my routine vaccination, so I went to the clinic. I only learned I had received the Gardasil vaccine after my condition worsened, and my family members took me back to the clinic. Before that, they hadn’t told me what vaccine it was. Before the vaccination, they were supposed to check my weight and allergies, and they should have warned me to rest for a few hours after the vaccination—to not read books or look at my phone or computer. I didn’t know any of this because I wasn’t informed, and I rushed to my English class immediately after the shot. They took my temperature at the entrance for formality; I didn’t even realize if I had a fever or not, and they told me to proceed with the vaccination,’ she said.
When her condition severely worsened, she returned to the clinic and was diagnosed with a supposed brain tumor, which was said to be the reason for her vision loss. ‘They told me to take this referral and go for tests at the Holy Mother of God Medical Center,’ she recounted.
The girl spoke emotionally about the diagnosis, stating that the news of a supposed brain tumor had reduced her to half a person, although it worried her mother more. ‘Before I reached the Holy Mother of God Medical Center, when my condition got worse, my mother became half a person, probably thinking it was the end… I underwent medical tests there, which showed I had no issues related to the brain or neurological problems that could explain the deterioration of my vision. The doctors said everything was normal. To determine the issues with my vision, they referred me to Malayan Eye Hospital, where it turned out I needed optical glasses. I had never worn glasses before. I had never complained about my physical condition, health, or well-being,’ she explained.
During the interview with ‘Pacininfo,’ the teenager was anxious and upset: ‘Am I ever going to be able to dance again? I love dancing so much. I don’t understand if I’m going to have to wear glasses all the time now, but I have never complained about my vision. Because of this, I have fallen behind in everything—I can’t go to school or my English classes or dance. In short, this was the last vaccine I will ever get…’
During our visit, the girl’s brother and grandmother were at home. The grandmother was furious, saying, ‘We’re raising this child with so much effort and difficulty, and they just throw her into this situation without informing us!’ The brother noted that they were preparing to file a lawsuit. ‘Let no one try to deny the truth,’ the brother asserted, holding all the documents related to the medical examinations, ready to file a lawsuit against ‘Armenia’ clinic and the irresponsible medical staff there. ‘How much longer can one tolerate the lawlessness prevailing in that medical establishment? What we hear and see there is unacceptable, and now my sister is a victim of this. After all this, they charge us money to diagnose and prescribe treatment for vision issues caused by an unknown vaccine,’ he said angrily.
The girl’s mother was at work during our conversation. We were informed that the day before, after ‘Pacininfo’ published an article, the government of Armenia contacted the girl’s mother, and they informed her that they would fully investigate the case and take appropriate measures to reveal all the details related to the incident.
It’s worth mentioning that ‘Pacininfo’ had received an alarming report about a minor girl born in 2003, who exhibited a sharp deterioration in health and loss of vision after receiving the Gardasil-4 vaccine at the ‘Armenia’ clinic. On September 14, she was transferred to the hospital. Sources close to ‘Pacininfo’ indicated that the girl was initially transferred to the hospital due to neurological concerns, but subsequent tests did not confirm that diagnosis.
’Pacininfo’ reached out to the Holy Mother of God Medical Center, where, as of today, the 17-year-old girl underwent examinations. The press office of the medical center informed us that the girl born in 2003 and showing symptoms of blindness was admitted to them on Monday, underwent appropriate examinations, and was also referred to Malayan Eye Clinic to continue with tests and treatment.
The girl has since been discharged from the hospital and is back home. In a conversation with ‘Pacininfo,’ she confirmed that the previous weakness and tremors were gone, her vision had improved slightly, but she still felt unwell and was uncertain how long she would need to wear glasses, as she had never needed them before. Furthermore, after our publication yesterday, the Ministry of Health hastily released a statement labeling our material as disinformation while failing to deny the factual circumstances pointed out in the publication—that the girl had received the Gardasil vaccine, health issues arose, and she was hospitalized, from which she was discharged only four days later.
