Driver and Passenger in Abovyan Hospitalized in Serious Condition Following Accident
On September 18, at 15:20, a call was received by the Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center reporting an accident near the "Saint John" Church in Abovyan city. There were reported injuries. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
Two emergency response teams from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a "Mercedes" vehicle (driver: Norayr N., born in 2002) veered off the road on Zoravar Andranik Street in Abovyan and collided with a tree.
Rescuers freed the passenger, Musheg H. (born in 2004), who was then hospitalized at the Abovyan Medical Center and subsequently transferred to the "Saint Astvatsamayr" Medical Center in Yerevan. The driver was hospitalized at the "Mikaelyan Institute of Surgery." Doctors have assessed both the driver and the passenger's health conditions as serious.
