57-Year-Old Man Detained One Day After Car Theft

On September 16, a car was stolen in the town of Ararat. A "VAZ-2106" parked on Spandaryan Street had its door open, and the key was left in the ignition. Taking advantage of this situation, the car was stolen at around 19:30. This information was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Police of Armenia.

On the same day, at 23:15, a call was received at the Ararat police station regarding the incident. Search operations for the car thief began immediately. The following day, information was received indicating that the thief was a 57-year-old resident of Yerevan.

On September 17, around 18:00, the suspect was found with the car on Abovyan Street in Ararat and was detained by the Ararat police. He has provided a confession. Investigations into the circumstances of the case are ongoing. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
