"10 Million Trees" Pan-Armenian Tree Planting to be Completed by the End of 2021

Considering the situation created by the spread of coronavirus, and emphasizing the health of every individual as well as the measures taken against the spread of the pandemic, it was decided back in April to postpone the "10 Million Trees" pan-Armenian tree planting initiative until the end of 2021 due to the unavoidable risks of human crowding during the planting period.

“We are hopeful that the situation will improve, and we will still carry out the initiative in full in 2021, planting 10,000,000 saplings. At the same time, we announce that the planning work for the initiative will be conducted as much as possible in accordance with the previously developed sequence of actions,” the Ministry of Environment reports.
