Driver Hits Three Children in Yerevan

Today, on September 17, an accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 1:10 PM, a resident of Yerevan, 38-year-old Aramais Petrosyan, driving a Mitsubishi IO, hit three pedestrians near the statue of Sasuntsi Davit, on the stretch from Tigran Mets Avenue to Sasuntsi Davit Square.

According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and provided assistance to the children, calling emergency services and helping to transport them to the hospital before reporting the incident to emergency services by dialing 1-02.

Photographer Gagik Shamshyan, who was at the scene, reported that the injured, all girls, received first aid from emergency medical technicians who arrived promptly and were then transported to the “St. Astvatsamayr” medical center.

Shortly afterwards, the driver also felt unwell, prompting traffic police to call for emergency medical assistance, which arrived within seconds to provide aid.
