A Minor Girl Went Blind After Gardasil Vaccination in Yerevan
Pastinfo.am reports that on September 14 in Yerevan, a girl born in 2003 was hospitalized with symptoms of complete blindness after receiving the Gardasil vaccine (personal data is not disclosed due to her being a minor).
Sources close to the "Pastinfo" news agency confirm that the girl was initially taken to the hospital with presumed neurological issues; however, after undergoing appropriate examinations, this hypothesis was not confirmed, and no neurological problems were detected.
According to information provided to the media, the girl went blind immediately after receiving the Gardasil vaccine, which was administered at the Armenia Medical Center's polyclinic in Yerevan.
The "Pastinfo" news agency contacted the medical center where the vaccinated girl is currently located. The medical center's press service informed us that the girl born in 2003, who is presenting symptoms of blindness, was transferred to them on Monday. She has undergone the necessary examinations, and she is scheduled to undergo two more tests tomorrow, after which she will be transferred to another hospital to continue her examinations and treatment course.
