Suicide Attempt Prevented from Victory Bridge

On September 16, at 20:40, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping off the Victory Bridge in Yerevan.

A firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Department along with an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center and a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Department were dispatched to the scene.

Thanks to the combined efforts of the rescuers and police, the suicide attempt by the male citizen was successfully prevented. The citizen has been transferred to the police department of Mashtots.
