196 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Georgia
As of September 16, 196 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Georgia. The number of patients who have recovered stands at 31. The total number of infection cases now reaches 2758, with 1412 recoveries. This information was reported by Aliq.ge.
The government-created stopcov.ge website provides the latest updates on the situation. So far, 19 people have died from the virus in the country.
Currently, 6633 citizens are in quarantine zones, and 836 patients are under special hospital supervision. Additionally, 41 citizens infected with the coronavirus have been brought to Georgia from abroad for treatment.
It is important to recall that the first case of coronavirus infection in Georgia was detected on February 26.
