Video: Another Fire in Beirut - Strong Blaze Erupts in Zaha Hadid Designed Building

Another emergency incident has occurred in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. A fire broke out in a historic building located in the city’s central commercial district, according to eadaily.com.

According to the Lebanese Civil Defense service, the fire was quickly contained and extinguished. There are no reports of injuries.

It is known that the building was designed by the late Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. Reports indicate that the construction of the building had taken years and was nearing completion.

This emergency comes just days after the recent powerful explosions in the Beirut port area and a month after the catastrophic blast.

Recall that Beirut was declared a disaster zone following the powerful explosion that rocked the city on the evening of August 4, resulting in more than 190 deaths and injuring thousands of citizens.
