VIDEO: "Your son serves under privileged conditions and does not ascend to positions" - Taguhi Tovmasyan to Khundkaryan

“Both you and your sons live in Yerevan. One of them completed their military service in Yerevan, and the other, who is currently serving, is, according to my information, under privileged conditions and does not ascend to positions. How is it that, living in Yerevan, your son has served in Yerevan?” asked MP Taguhi Tovmasyan today, addressing candidate for Constitutional Court Justice Yervand Khundkaryan in the National Assembly.

Khundkaryan replied that his elder son served in a relevant unit of the honor guard, while his younger son is serving in one of the military units located within the Republic of Armenia: “For over a month now, my son has been in the positions, and there are no privileged conditions. As for why the soldier has been assigned to this or that military unit by the Ministry of Defense's decision, I am not the one who should respond to that question.”
