Video: Firefighting Efforts Underway at Nubarashen Landfill

The Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has deployed two firefighting teams and two water tankers from the city council to the Nubarashen landfill for firefighting operations. This was reported by the press office of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The third fire site was contained at 17:04 and extinguished by 19:16, affecting an area of approximately 1000 square meters of construction waste.

It is noteworthy that on September 10, at 08:19, the National Center for Crisis Management received a call reporting a fire at the Nubarashen landfill in Yerevan. Three firefighting teams from the Fire and Rescue Department, along with an operational group from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Department, were dispatched to the scene. Subsequently, a fire complexity level of "1-BIS" was declared, prompting an additional firefighting team to respond from the Fire and Rescue Department.

According to preliminary reports, there were two active fire sites. The first site was contained by 13:35 (approximately 3000 square meters), and the second site was contained by 19:41 (approximately 4 hectares). A total of five water tankers from the city council participated in the firefighting efforts.
