Stepantsminda-Lars Road Open Only for Freight Transport

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable.

Regarding Lars, based on information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Department and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia of the Russian Federation, due to the state of emergency, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open only for freight transport vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision prohibiting the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.
