Five New Cases of Coronavirus Identified in Artsakh
According to information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, five new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the republic. Two of the infected individuals are from a new cluster in the city of Stepanakert, where the virus was detected during examinations conducted at a healthcare facility.
Efforts are underway by epidemiologists to clarify the scope of contact among patients. Among the other three citizens diagnosed with the virus, one is from Norshen and two are from Stepanakert. All have been previously identified as contacts from an existing cluster and were already in isolation.
To date, the novel coronavirus has been confirmed in 328 individuals, of whom 283 have recovered from the illness. Currently, 43 individuals are receiving treatment, and a total of 64 citizens are isolated. Doctors assess the health condition of seven patients as severe, while five are in moderate condition. Testing has involved 81 sample collections. So far, a total of 12,680 samples have been tested.
