Director and Sales Manager of Gazprom Armenia in Shirak Region Detained by Police
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, materials are being prepared in the Mush Division of the Gyumri City Police for the signs of hooliganism. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, on September 9 at around 1:30 PM, an inspector from the Kumayri Division of the Community Police and three employees from the market supervision department visited a gas station located at 19 Marmashen Highway in Gyumri.
The reason for the visit was to verify the consequences of the decision made by Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emergency Situations Service Tigran Avinyan to suspend the activities of the specified business entity for 24 hours. During the visit, 38-year-old Sergey Amirbekyan, a resident of M. Khorenatsi Street in Gyumri, and 46-year-old Aghasi Janoyan, a resident of Garegin Nzhdeh Street in Gyumri, who identified themselves as the owners of the mentioned facility, began to shout profanities of a sexual nature and obstruct the work of the police and inspection officials.
The operational group that arrived upon the alarm from the Mush Division of the Police detained the aforementioned individuals. According to G. Shamshyan, S. Amirbekyan is the director of the Gazprom Armenia LLC Shirak GGM, while A. Janoyan is the head of the sales department of Gazprom Armenia LLC in the Shirak region.
