Armenia Will Continue to Utilize International Mechanisms in the Fight Against Terrorism - Makunts

The leader of the ‘My Step’ parliamentary faction, Lilit Makunts, made a post on her Facebook page regarding the terrorist attacks that occurred in the United States 19 years ago.

“The terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, in the United States were a tragedy not only for the American people but for the entire world. The Armenian people, like the progressive community of the world, condemn terrorism and believe that it recognizes no borders and can only be overcome and prevented through joint efforts. Therefore, cooperation with the United States on this issue is very important. Armenia will continue to utilize existing international mechanisms and platforms in the fight against terrorism. On behalf of the Armenia-U.S. Friendship Group, we express our solidarity with the American people and our partners,” she wrote.
