Young Writer Begins Hunger Strike Demanding Araik Harutyunyan's Resignation

Writer Minas Martirosyan announced on his Facebook page: "I AM CURRENTLY ON A HUNGER STRIKE, UNTIL THE TIME COMES WHEN THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE, CULTURE AND SPORTS ARAIK HARUTYUNYAN RESIGNS... It is unacceptable to distort a child's psychology, as children are the architects of tomorrow's Armenian state. Those like Araik will find it hard to grasp this simple principle. Araik has long been blinded by the warm comfort of his cushioned chair... I would rather die than witness how sexual education is taught to our innocent children in Armenian educational institutions. I would rather die than see the subject of the History of the Armenian Church sent to the museum of oblivion, while Turkish-subject educational standards are included instead. Hold on tight Araik, your next station is resignation, AND IF NECESSARY I WILL REMAIN ON A HUNGER STRIKE, BUT YOU WILL RESIGN... P.S.
