VIDEO: Stabbing at Auto Service Point - Investigation by Armavir Police

On September 7, around 11 PM, the Armavir Police received a report from a medical center indicating that a 32-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his chest, upper extremities, and buttocks was admitted for treatment.

The criminal investigators undertook various measures to uncover the incident, from recording relevant reports at the hospital to making operational inquiries. As a result of persistent efforts, the crime was solved the day after the report was made.

It was revealed that during an argument at an auto service point on Gorky Street in Armavir, the victim was stabbed by an acquaintance, a 62-year-old resident of Baghramyan Street in Armavir. According to preliminary assumptions, the individuals had been sharing a meal and drinking that evening at the service point; the vodka was strong, and whether it was due to that or another reason, one of the diners stabbed the other.

Thanks to explanatory work, on September 8, the suspect presented himself to the Armavir Police, bringing the knife with him. He provided a confession. The circumstances are still under investigation. The inquiry continues.
