VIDEO: Murder of a 39-Year-Old Man in Artashat - Details

On the night of September 9, at 03:45, the police station in Artashat received a report from the emergency medical service about a stabbing incident in one of the apartments on Isakov Street in Artashat. It was also reported that a 39-year-old man was transported to the hospital with a "stab wound to the abdominal wall." The injured man died at 06:50, without regaining consciousness.

Thanks to the operational-investigative measures taken by the detectives of the Ararat regional police and the Artashat division, as well as the investigative actions conducted by the territorial investigative body, factual data were obtained indicating that on September 8, around 22:45, a 36-year-old resident of Artashat had a dispute with the 39-year-old man on Isakov Street while allegedly under the influence of alcohol and stabbed him in the abdomen.

Hours after the incident, the police in Artashat located the suspect and brought him to the police station, where he was presented to the investigative body. He provided a confession and was arrested. The knife used in the crime was found and seized. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances.
